A view of the 1/2 barrack as seen from the bus on the arrival to the project site. This barrack was stabilized and transported made possible with funds raised by the Poston Community Alliance. The barrack was returned to Poston from Parker, Arizona in 2011-2012.  Photo credit: Hanako Wakatsuki

The northern area of project site was cleared and leveled from debris and weeds with many thanks to Johnny Hill, Jr. Our buses and vans parked inside the chain link fence. Photo credit: Johnny Hill, Jr.
After getting off the bus, the wind and the hot sun and stepping into the dirt reminded us of what it must have felt like in 1942 for the detainees arriving to the concentration camp minus the air conditioned comfortable buses.. ...Photo credit: Marty Kobata.

Thanks to Susan Komatsuka-Rodriguez and family for placing the directional signs.
