This symposium will discuss euphemisms used to minimize or understate the involuntary incarceration of people of Japanese decent during World War II to better define the chapter of history for future generations. 

Scholars and activists such as Roger Daniels, Lane Hirabayashi, Karen Ishizuka, Tetsuden Kashima, Mako Nakagawa, Neil Gotanda and Don Hata will be speakers.
The event is FREE with lunch provided and a closing reception afterward.
